Just playin around on the front porch. Of course he thinks he can climb it and actually can, if allowed.
I love, love, love that the sun is out and we can play outside all day. I think Emmitt is happy that he doesn't have to wear a coat, hat, or boots and I am happy I don't have to try to get them on him.
St. Patty's day parade. Well, we barely got to see the parade, way to many people. But we did take a nice walk and wear green. Emmitt found a green feather and was amazed by it.
Notice the pants. We have got to get this kid some rain boots because where there is water, Emmitt must jump in it. I have a really hard time saying no to this...so he always leaves the river soaking wet!
Emmitt and his girlfriends. Amy (his best friend and neighbor) and her friend. They came over for a little Emmitt love and to eat our Ice Cream!
I thought to myself, I need to take more pictures of Emmitt in his diapers. Why? because he is so freakin cute!
Ok, so the sweetest thing happened...Killian and Emmitt spontaneously started holding hands! I took a million pictures.
Emmitt is starting to have his mother's crazy hair. You can't tell but the back of his hair is starting to get curly, of course the front is straight. Not to mention it is getting very long. I just can't cut it! What is wrong with me???
Oh yeahhhhhhh, I got a video to upload!
My Favorite Emmitt quotes....for now.
Oh'man, come onpeas peas peas Mama (please please please)
No way! (instead of just no. For example: Me "Emmitt can I change your diaper?" Emmitt "No, way")
No like. (when he doesn't want to do something he just says he doesn't like it anymore)
piecy eat? (Percy eat? he has taken to Percy a little more these days).
Emmitt cute?
I lub you.
running? (means he wants us to chase him through the house, especially his dad)
Mama, what you doing here? or Mama, where you coming here? (means- what are you doing or where are you going?)
Really hot, really spicy, really heavy, really high, really big (loves the word Really!)
Mmmmmmmm, GOOOOD (to describe anything he is REALLY enjoying)
I am sure there are many more. I am always thinking "I need to write that down". His language development is truely amazing. I enjoy trying to dicipher his sentences that at times go on and on. Sometimes it just sounds like gibberish, but mostly he is talking up a storm and totally able to express himself. Emmitt has had series of illnesses. I will be so glad when cold and flu season ends. He had a horrible cold, then an ear infection, then a short term flu, and then pink eye (all within a month and 1/2). I just keep reminding myself that he will eventually have a really strong immune system. Emmitt continues to be mostly pleasant...but has definitely started to express his Toddler 2 year old self. It is on the days that he is a feisty maniac that I miss my sweet little Emmitt, but as my mother reminded me tonight, it will only get better. I will sleep on that one tonight...of course with Emmitt:)
